Arizona Credit for Solar Energy Devices

Statewide Arizona individual income tax credit under A.R.S. §43-1083: 25% of the cost of installing a solar energy device at the taxpayer's Arizona residence, capped at $1,000 total per residence (not per year — the $1,000 cap is cumulative across all tax years for the same residence). Any unused credit may be carried forward up to 5 consecutive tax years. Applies statewide to any qualifying Arizona residential installation, not utility- or city-specific.
