Inspection steps

  • Schedule through the County's online Citizen Access / ACA portal (no registration required); see the Inspection Scheduling Handout for detailed instructions
  • Approved plans must be on-site at the time of inspection, with a secured ladder available and someone 18+ present
  • By 8:00 a.m. on the inspection day, check Today's Inspections to obtain the start of your two-hour inspection window
  • To cancel, call the office no later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of the inspection; the permit expires 12 months from issuance or from the last passing inspection
