- Request inspection by phone at (831) 758-7251 (Option 1) with inspection code(s) ready, or online via the eTRAKiT Portal (authorized users only; contractors may request access by emailing epermit@salinas.gov)
- Choose a window: AM (8:30am-12:30pm) or PM (12:00pm-4:30pm); no exact arrival times given
- To schedule for the next business day: request AM inspections by 12:00pm, PM inspections by 4:00pm
- Someone 18+ must be on site during the window with City-stamped approved plans and the Permit Job Card printed and accessible
- Re-inspection fees may apply for no-shows, same-day cancellations, or failed inspections; cancel at least 24 hours in advance when possible
