This is explicitly a state-set default, not a Newark-specific confirmed figure — the same regulation and independent reporting both note that individual municipalities may adopt their own fee schedules that differ from this state base, and Newark's own current fee schedule was not independently located and cross-checked this session. A separate building-subcode fee, a DCA state permit surcharge ($1.90 per $1,000 of construction value), and plan-review fees (20% of construction permit fees) would also typically apply and are not included in this single line item.

• The system must separately be inspected and approved by PSE&G under the interconnection agreement before Permission to Operate is granted
