Per EWEB's own Residential Solar PV Program page: net metering is available up to a maximum system size of 25 kW AC output; excess generation is calculated and trued-up MONTHLY and does NOT roll over to subsequent months (a genuinely distinct policy from many utilities' annual true-up — EWEB explicitly warns that systems sized for a yearly true-up policy 'may be oversized in EWEB service territory'). An alternative 'Direct Generation' rate sells all solar output directly to EWEB rather than net-metering on-site use. EWEB also offers a residential incentive of $0.40 per AC watt (max $2,500), funded by its voluntary Greenpower program, subject to an annually-renewed budget (73% of the $125,000 2026 budget was allocated as of the page's own July 20, 2026 update).
